HBO Has a Premiere Date for the Third Season of “Girls”

“Girls” fans rejoice!  We only have to wait a few months before the third season premieres on January 12 with back to back episodes! While season two had its highlights (I actually quite enjoyed the Patrick Wilson episode), ultimately I was left a little disappointed. I had high hopes for how it would address Hannah’s OCD considering my own struggles, but the result was off-putting and did nothing to add to the cultural conversation/common misconceptions about disease. Still, there isn’t anything like “Girls” on television and I enjoy watching it despite its flaws (and what show out there doesn’t have flaws?). Plus Taystee from “Orange is the New Black” is going to be in it for at least one episode! Bravo, Lena. Bravo. Speaking of “Orange is the New Black”–Netflix, if you are reading this, you better tell me when the second season is going to be available. I miss my friends…I mean, the characters.

“Girls” fans, are you pumped? What would you like to see in this upcoming season?

  1. More Adam and more Ray. It will be interesting to see how Ray plays into the show with him and Shoshanna falling to pieces! Lena Dunham does a great job with this show though, definitely one of my favorites.
