Birthday Memories

BIrthday-cake-with-CandlesWith our joint birthday coming up, I thought I would stare some of my favorite memories of birthdays past. Of course there were fun parties, but I think one of my favorite details was when my parents filled our bathroom with balloons so that as soon as we opened the door we were surrounded! As kids, it can’t really get any better than a boatload of balloons! Even as we got older they would still string up a Happy Birthday sign downstairs for us to see, along with some confetti. I think that is the sweetest. Any birthday memories you want to share?

P.S. Sharing a birthday with a twin is weird. Sometimes we forget to wish each other a happy birthday.
