Dorothy Cake is famous among our family and friends. It is easily one of the best desserts with its richness and gooey-deliciousness and so addictive that you might need to make two pans of it (in our household you know that even if there is still half a pan left at night, you may wake up to find simply crumbs in the morning). Bonus: it’s also super easy, even for those who don’t normally cook. As someone who has messed up No-Bake cookies (let me repeat that- NO-BAKE COOKIES), I appreciate its simplicity.
1 yellow cake mix
1/2 c. oil
Mix above by hand.
Take 2/3 batter in 9×13 pan & flatten with spatula.
Melt 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 can condensed Eagle brand milk
2 tbsp margarine
Melt & pour on top of batter
Take other 1/3 of batter & spread on top & swirl into chocolate
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
