I Love Gourds

I think that I may love gourds more than is acceptable for 24 year old lady. Once autumn rolls around and  I see those first gourds in the supermarket or at the pumpkin patch, I get giddy and the gourds must be mine. During college, I bought a bunch of them and decorated Jamie and my entire apartment with them….but then I only threw them out months later when they acquired fuzzy mold, making them look like giant, misshapen hairballs (this may be too gross of a description for too early in the morning!). Last year, I asked (very seriously) what gourds my coworkers would like for me to get them when I went to the pumpkin patch (coworker: “Round? And green?”). Any other gourd lovers out there?
