Now that the heat is finally dissipating here in the Midwest I am looking forward to the weekend! Any big plans? I want to watch the Michigan football game, perhaps do some rearranging of my room (I have a T.V. in my room that is the size of a baby elephant, which would be cute but it takes up most of my room). Ideally I would like to make room for my desk so I can write at a proper place and not in my bed like a bozo. This weekend keep in mind….
I bought The Invisible Woman: The Story of Nelly Ternan and Charles Dickens on my Kindle. I cannot wait to dive right in! It is the story of Charles Dickens (he needs no introduction, does he?) and his actress lover. They met when he was 45 years old and she was only 18. It sounds like the typical midlife crisis (I bet he would have bought a red Comaro if those existed back then), but their story is much more complicated than that.
Glamour highlights 21 fall movies. I want to see all of them! I feel like every other one has Benedict Cumberbatch in them, which I highly support. I am most excited about “August: Osage County”–Meryl Streep tears up the trailer. Another Oscar win, perchance? (Yes, Benedict is in that one)
Awww a sweet sisters necklace. Dainty and sentimental.
Have a good one!
