Fall is on the Way

0

I went running recently just as the sun was setting. There was little humidity and I could just feel fall. Does anyone know what I am talking about? I associate many senses with autumn so any time I smell/feel/taste one of them, I fall into this giddy state. When I was outside at the track, the air had the distinct chill that I associate with pumpkin patches and football games. I could even smell the hint of smoke somewhere, which sends me dreaming of campfires and rust-colored leaves. I am getting wistful just recounting it! Hurry up fall! I can’t wait to see you again, old friend.
