Weekend Trips

While we all wish that we could take a week or two off of work or school to go recharge in Hawaii, for most of us that isn’t realistic. I love doing weekend trips to get that rush that comes with traveling and exploring new areas without using up all your allotted vacation days/spending that money you were saving for car. Midwesterners, Midwest Living Magazine has 45 Midwest resorts that all look  divine! Jamie has actually been to one of the resorts in Lutsen, Minnesota (yours truly was somehow left off the guest list) and she loved it! I guess that means I need to try out all the rest to give it the “Erin Seal of Approval” (which is actually pretty easy to achieve–you just need to serve booze and have a comfy place for me to relax while I read).

Any one else out there a fan of the weekend trip? What places do you like to go?
