Style & Beauty Icon: Marianne Faithfull

When it comes to my style and beauty inspirations, I always come back to Ms. Marianne Faithfull, especially her looks from the 1960s when she was sadly more known for being Mick Jagger’s girlfriend than her own talents. Way before Zooey Deschanel brought long, blunt bangs into style, Marianne rocked them and always balanced the line between sweet and girly as well as more rock and roll in her style. Even when her life was in turmoil due to relationship troubles (shocker: Mick Jagger wasn’t exactly the best boyfriend) and the public & press turning her into a villain, Marianne always seemed to do her own thing & took risks in her life (and fashion). She is the one celebrity I would give anything to meet and talk to–her autobiography highlights what a strong and general badass she was and still is.
